At TruthWalker.org we help connect people to the healing power and blessed hope available through the resurrection Spirit of Jesus Christ.  Our Lord and Savior is the only “True North” as He provides us a path of truth and life which lightens our steps and provides a “directional” purpose to all who place their trust in Him.

To this end, we are excited to announce a significant development within TruthWalker.org.  We are establishing refuge centers throughout North America to serve Christian ministry professionals.  These “True North” refuge centers will be strategically placed throughout North America with a dual ministry focus of training/restoring Christian ministry professionals and providing a place of gathering for First Nations people.

The first such center of refuge will be built on land in northern Wisconsin purchased by an Ojibwe man of God who has not previously owned either land or a home. Few Christians are aware that many frontline evangelists and missionaries are not under a particular church for support and that number is growing. These missionaries travel within many local communities and reservations meeting ministry needs and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. TruthWalker.org has three such missionaries presently serving by faith alone without a home of their own or the resources to build one.

As we lay out this vision of Christian ministry before you, we ask that you seek the Lord in prayer as to how you could come alongside TruthWalker.org.  We are seeking financial donations to help develop the “True North” Refuge center in northern Wisconsin and plant seed money for two more locations as mentioned below.  But we are also seeking volunteers for the ministry in yet to be defined roles of service.  As TruthWalker.org grows the Lord will direct our paths and show us ministry needs and will begin to place calls upon the hearts of His believers which He has predestined for this ministry

Most importantly, can you pray for this ministry which God has called us into.  Pray for our protections as the adversary wants to destroy all who will stand up against his lies and deceptions.  Pray for our strength as the demands of following God’s calling is rarely without challenges.  Pray that the ground these refuge centers will be built upon will be cleansed of any darkness creating a holy foundation from which to build upon.  And pray also that God will provide a clear vision of how to implement with “courtly precision” the many facets of His ministry.

Here are some of the key components of “True North” Refuges that will be built throughout North America:

  • A ministry outreach center will be built within an area of need which serves multiple communities from which the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be shared.
  • The outreach centers will have the capacity to house Christian professionals who serve in an itinerant manner and no place of their own.
  • The outreach centers will provide a platform of learning and restoring to those called to be disciples of Jesus Christ.

What’s Next?  After completion of the “True North” Refuge center in northern Wisconsin a second project is visioned in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This will be a very important refuge center as it is close to the Pine Ridge Reservation, as well as other important Reservations. This will truly be a “restorative” refuge especially for traveling Native American missionaries in their land full of God’s great harvest, healing, and redemption.

Minnesota, Montana and North Carolina are additional upcoming location considerations.

Why Refuge Centers? For restoration and reconciliation!  The refuge centers are meant for restoration which means creating an environment where people go to heal and to be made whole.  The refuge centers will be constructed to be centers of reconciliations also which require unique architecture not present in current church buildings.  These centers will be smaller in size as the geography over which the communities they serve is immense and centers of population are thinly spread throughout the vastness of land.  Gathering places which are intimate, where meaningful relationships are built while studying the Word, and offer places from which regional ministries can be birthed and supported.

At TruthWalker.org, we understand how important a place of refuge is for those without a home while serving the Lord.  We travel light, carrying little more than the good news of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  And as we travel across vast stretches of land to communities not often served by a traditional Church, it is good to have a place from which to teach and train, and to rest and restore.

We look forward to you knowing us better and seeing how we bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to communities throughout this great land.  We share inspirational messages from His Word, start important conversations that bring healing and hope, and provide powerful prayer ministry opportunities.

Ministry Needs

Financial   A gift of any size would be greatly appreciated.  For the project in northern Wisconsin the total amount needed for completion of the first “True North” refuge is $120,000.

If you would like to speak to someone in person before making a financial gift you may contact by email either Lori Paul at loripaul@truthwalker.org or Thomas Johnston at tbjohnston6@gmail.com.  TruthWalker.org is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Ministry Volunteers   As our ministry continues to grow there will be needs for additional ministry volunteers.  Please contact Lori Paul by email at loripaul@truthwalker.org for additional information.

Prayer Partners     When taking “occupied” ground back from Satan and his demons the battle will be both fierce and ongoing.  We would love to have an extensive group of volunteers that will pray for the protection of ministry volunteers engaged with TruthWalker.org and for guidance on how best to grow the ministry.  Please contact Lori Paul by email at loripaul@truthwalker.org for additional information.

The Bible clearly lays out for us the incredible responsibilities of living a Christian life.  In Luke 9:1-6 it reads…And Yeshua called the twelve and he gave power to them and authority over all demons and diseases to heal the sick. And he sent them to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And he said to them, “You shall take nothing with you for the road; no staff, neither moneybag, no bread, nor money, neither two tunics will be with you.” “And whatever house you enter, stay there and from there go out.” “And whoever does not receive you, whenever you leave that city, shake off even the sand from your feet against them for a testimony.” And The Apostles went out and were walking around in the villages and cities and they were preaching The Good News and healing in every place. (Aramaic TranslationIf you feel led by the Lord to join us in this great battle between good and evil please step out in faith and contact us.  No greater honor or joy can be found on this side of Eternity then to work alongside the Lord reaching the lost, healing the broken, and delivering the oppressed.
